The sports media dubbed them The Mod Squad, but to the college basketball establishment they were...JACKSONVILLE WHO?
The Dolphins play for an unknown school in a relatively unknown city with a troubled history of racial division and conflict.
Now the season ahead is about to take this team from straight out of nowhere to the heart of March Madness.
The smallest school ever to reach the NCAA basketball finals, the JU Dolphins will face defending champion UCLA in title game; with the Bruins looking to make it four titles in a row for their coach, The Wizard of Westwood.
Along the way in their legendary 1969-70 season, the JU Dolphins will break down racial barriers, and bring their own playful brand of revolution to basketball in the Deep South.
